Say hey to EHB's Owner & Independent Stylist Michelle. She has been in the industry for almost 25 years, building a salon was a dream she had when she started cosmetology in high school. Being introduced to chair rental in 2004 Michelle began to gain the knowledge & confidence it took to build a successful salon for Stylists like herself. Ones that want a community based salon, not a competitive one. She wanted to create a salon where Stylists could build their own brands, expand their client lists, control their own schedules, take home all the profit yet, still be part of a Team atmosphere.
Fast forward 14 years, Michelle married her high school crush, they had two kids and she continued to work part time behind the chair and that dream slowly became a plan. Thanks to her determination, her supportive family, a super loyal clientele & helpful, talented friends, that dream finally came to fruition in 2018.
Michelle's sons, Cohen & Malcom & hubby, Jason are her everything. She likes reading books to further herself both personally & professionally. Some activities that fill her bucket, other than working behind the chair is running with EHB's shop dog, Gordon & renovating her home with her hubby. She loves coffee, good food, wine & loves to camp with her friends.
I was born and raised in Calgary. I have been doing hair for as long as I can remember, but professionally for 6 years. I studied at Aveda Institute and have taken many advance cutting and colour courses over the years.
I specialize in Blondes, Lived in colour, Fashion Colours and Braid-less Weave hand tied extensions.
One of my favourite things about being a stylist is creating connections with my clients, helping anyone and everyone feel and look their best.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually watching crime documentaries with my fiancé, or taking my cat Peanut on an adventure
